Basically what the did Get Back to their roots.
Definitely a very good and very interesting movie if you are a Beatles fan like me.It shows the Beatles rehearsing songs for the movie Let it be and songs from Abbey Road and it ends with their last performance together with their famous rooftop concert , They sing songs I never heard them sing before , A must see film. I waited to see this for many, many years and I have to say it was worth the wait !!!BADefinitely a very good and very interesting movie if you are a Beatles fan like me.It shows the Beatles rehearsing songs for the movie Let it be and songs from Abbey Road and it ends with their last performance together with their famous rooftop concert , They sing songs I never heard them sing before , A must see film. A note on packaging -
42 reviews thus far on this Beatles dvd set...just wanted to comment on packaging. Amazed that an Apple licensed product would allow for 3 discs to be stacked on one spindle. I initially thought it was a repackage that was resealed, but have read reviews elsewhere complaining of same issue. Thankfully, unscratched; will re-package into proper 4 disc case, and include original Let It Be dvd as well . . . thankful for this physical media release, had thought I'd be out of luck since I don't "subscribe". 42 reviews thus far on this Beatles dvd set...just wanted to comment on packaging. Amazed that an Apple licensed product would allow for 3 discs to be stacked on one spindle. Obviously a must have for ALL Beatles fans.
This movie, with Peter Jackson's guidance, shows that The Beatles were not at each other's throats. Nor were they covered in doom and gloom during this filming like the original "Let It Be" is famous for. Problems? Yes, but it was one Hell of a swan song.

The Director (Peter Jackson) went through 60 hours of film to present the weeks leading up to the Beatles last live appearance - on the rooftop of the Apple recording studio. It goes in depth about the events that occurred, and shows the Beatles playing a wide variety of songs.
