It's a cheap card reader; plastic body and all. I destroyed it almost immediately; I think because I bent the pins on the CF slot, caused a short, and blew up a microcontroller. That's my bad though, not the seller's fault. On the upside, the two SATA cables for connecting to the motherboard are literally just regular SATA cables hot glued into ports on the device, so they're super easy to reclaim if you don't need front panel SATA connectivity.
