Tiger's back and EA's got him. This "2005" edition of the best-selling golf series will challenge the superstar prodigy like never before, however, with its new "Tiger-Proofing" course editing tools. Course can be altered, with longer tees or narrower fairways for example, to take away some of the advantages the accurate, long-ball hitting Tiger Woods wields. As in other recent versions of Tiger Woods PGA Tour, single players create their own customized golfer (using a new and improved version of EA's Game Face feature) and attempt to work the character up the leader boards of various tournaments and events, eventually earning the right to challenge a number of unlockable real-life legends of the sport, including Ben Hogan, Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus, and Tiger Woods himself.

    Nice and easy

    Got the game I wanted for a great price. Packaging was all up to par, and worked upon arrival. Game freezes if you leave it alone and let it play an intro cutscene, but so far that hasn't happened in game. 10/10 would buy again.

    A non-biased review of Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2006

    I had played TW PGA Tour 02 before ordering 2005. In fact the seller had run out of 2005 and sent instead the 2006 version which was fine with me. This game has great graphics and good controls, good courses and lots of them, and lots of different game play modes. It is very fun to play and rewarding. It takes a certain amount of intelligence to play it will and that intelligence builds with experience in the game. The only thing I don't like about this game is that sometimes when you are chipping and putting the announcers make comments about how poor of a shot you made and they can be very rude and annoying. It doesn't happen every hole so it is only a temporary and occasional nuisance. For example, oftentimes I will be faced with a very difficult putt and they will say something ...

    Tiger Woods 2005 PS2 - didn't improve with age!

    I bought this game beause I really liked the 2004 version, which I played for countless hours. Upon starting the 2005 version I immediately found things that didn't seems quite as good as it's predecessor. It's seems that load times are longer between holes, and nobody likes waiting for something to load. Some of the graphics really don't give you a 3D feel, notably some trees are very poorly rendered and the sky, at times, has an odd texture with what seems to be a short draw-distance (the clouds don't extend far enough to the horizon.) Lot's of the commentators saying have been copied from 2004 and they don't always agree with what happens on the screen. After hitting a nice shot your character may break into a dance which is accompanied by music, but in you click through the dance ...

    Tiger woods 2005 Playstation

    Great golf game to buy for a few bucks now that it has been out for 5 years. It is relaxing, peaceful and an intricate game that draws you in as you learn more and become a better player. Various levels of competitors and options allow for a very customized experience once you play for a while. I'll take this over blood and guts and mindless violence any day. Be wary though, there are a lot of events and this will really take some time to accomplish all the events.

    Perfect game, could not be made better great for a gift

    This is a great game. It would be a perfect gift for a golf fan. It is so realistic. You can buy all different kind of clubs, balls, and improve your person. They also have a great feature that you can use to make an amazing put. It is called tiger vision and if you do it right you will make the put every time. The last thing is they have a great mode called battle golf. This is where you play the computer or a friend, and when you win the hole you can take a club from your opponents bag that he can not use.
