The SIM card was 'cold' when I received it because it had an 'activate by' date of July 2022, and I purchased this in November 2023. It took multiple contacts to Ultra Mobile to activate the card, which took 5 days for them to fix. I only got to use the card for half my trip, and if I'd been sent a SIM card that didn't have an old 'activate by' date, this wouldn't have happened.
