    I PURCHASED THIS BOOK FOR MY SON, BUT IT WAS MISSING WHAT I THINK WAS "FLAT STANLEY," WHICH WAS A LITTLE DISAPPOINTING. IT WAS A USED BOOK; HOWEVER. ALTHOUGH THE BOOK IS FOR YOUNGER CHILDREN, I PURCHASED IT FOR FUN FOR MY 9 YEAR OLD SON BECAUSE HE NEVER READ IT WHEN YOUNGER. WE HAD FUN READING THROUGH IT AND THEN I HAD HIM DRAW A PICTURE OF HIMSELF AS "FLAT ___" FOR ART CLASS, TOOK PHOTOS OF "FLAT ___" GOING DIFFERENT PLACES WITH MY SON, AND THEN PLAN TO PUT A BOOK TOGETHER OF THEIR EXPERIENCES. IN THE PAST, I HAVE DONE THE SAME THING FOR A NIECE AND A NEPHEW FROM OUT OF STATE, THEN TOOK THEIR "FLAT ___" AND "DRESSED" VIA COMPUTER IMAGE IN A COWBOY OUTFIT / SENORITA OUTFIT AND HAD IT HEAT PRESSED ONTO A WHITE T-SHIRT FOR THEM WITH THEIR NAME AND THE MONTH/YEAR.     Flat Stanley is great reading alone or with a child

    It is great . Started reading the Flat Stanley book to know who he was, since I got a Flat Stanley in the mail to show around my town, then send him to someone else , and then back to the school where the child was that sent to me. Flat Stanley is a great project for children to learn to read, and find about other areas in this country. Book is great !
