      NOT NEW! Good packaging, decent price. Firstly, the Intel 800p 118Gb Optane drive meets all of the expected speeds. I installed an Operating System and its blazing fast and has the excellent IOPs that Optane promises. HOWEVER, while I understand that Intel stopped these 2020, the item is listed as "New" (old stock?) but checking CrystalDiskMark shows in the SMART data 4-ish years of light read and writes. This should be listed as 'Used- Excellent Condition' or 'Open Box', but IT IS NOT NEW.

      Boot and program load speeds have quadrupled

      Buy this over the H10 Optanes and buy a Primocache license, it will work on AMD platforms and Intel motherboards that don't support Optane. The boot and program load speeds have atleast quadrupled since installation into my system.
