    A tremendous value, with some budget compromises

    An amazing option for people who want to enter the full frame mirrorless world but this is by no means the ideal full frame mirrorless experience. A little slow on the trigger, 4k crop without DPAF, and a number of other compromises compared to the R or R6 but you can't turn your nose up at the price. Wouldn't consider this the hybrid shooter's camera. Definitely not the wildlife or sports shooter's camera. But if you want a modern, user friendly camera that can produce the best photos at 1k or less, this is the body for you. You'll struggle to mess up a portrait with this body and even a basic 50/1.8 lens. Obviously, I do recommend getting a third party battery grip and extending that annoying mirrorless style battery life. Will go a long way whether you are doing paid work or a ...

    Nice medium between travel sized and professional

    I already had some nice EF L series lenses from Canon to use with my 5DII. Having such a nice modern and light camera is great for when you want to take photos with your nice lenses, while having more portability. Of course the fastest shutter speed and frames per second are lacking, but for this form factor you can't expect everything. Given how small and easy to use this camera is with a Rode Video Micro, its a camera I'm more willing to bring everywhere with me. It's also nice to have a second body for my other lenses considering I really don't like to change lenses.

    Good as a backup

    I have the eosR but wanted something a Lil more portable, something that I could carry around without a ton of worry. The Rp fit the bill, came in at a price that worked for me, so really, can’t complain. I took it with me over the holiday weekend as my only camera, and it did what it had to do very easy! No complaints!

    If anyone tries telling you this camera isn’t capable, they are lying to you. Great camera for the money. I’ve had everything from the M-50 to a 5d mark III and this has got to be my favorite all around camera. I was scheptical due to all the youtubers but like I said, they are lying, great camera!
