It's an OEM filter at a s;ightly less than OEM price.
It's a mystery why lawn tractor oil filters cost twice as much as car oil filters, and why equivalent filters from the large filter makers are even more ridiculously priced. Turned out this was about as good a deal as could be found. Exact match for what's on the tractor. This is a "shortie" filter that will provide necessary steering gear clearance for some Cub Cadet (and maybe other ) tractors.
