    oldie but goodie

    this is a fantastic camera with incredible optics in my opinion. I bought my first me super in 1979 and now another this year. I still have an incredible selection of family photos I took over 30 years ago, and very much looking forward to using it again because it just takes such wonderful rich and aesthetically pleasing photos. I also have a modern dslr which I love, but my heart belongs to this camera. I am so lucky I was able to pick one up on ebay and am giving it to myself as a birthday present this year.

    You need a film camera, this one is fantastic.

    This is my first film camera, and so far I am loving it. I am happy to say that the camera isn't that large. It isn't as small as a disposable film camera but it is small enough that it is not much of a hinderance to carry around. It doesn't have too many buttons, take that as a positive or negative, I find it nice. Furthermore, there is not a true manual mode, which for me is a little sad but honestly not a big deal at all because I do not know how to calculate the correct exposure with film (I am a digital born shooter). At least I believe there to be no manual mode, only a shutter priority mode, but I could be wrong. The build quality I quite nice, I don't have any complaints so far.     previous owner definitely took care of this camera. I am so overjoyed to begin my journey with film. took it to get the foam seal replaced, and repair man said everything looked great. besides a little TLC, this camera will be functional for years to come. thank you again - you have made me a very happy photographer :)

    I bought a pentax k2 first, then I got this me super. I love to use ME Super more as its screen is brighter, and the body is smaller and lighter. Shutter and mirror vibrations are less than k2.
