    The On Stage MS7701 is a standout among less expensive microphone boom stands. While there are several stands of very similar profile with better ruggedness and overall higher quality, they are substantially more expensive. There are also quite a few of similar price but far inferior quality. There are a few danger zones on a boom stand of this type. Many cheap units connect the boom arm to the vertical tube at a welded crimp in the vertical. This will not last much handling. The MS7701B includes a finished vertical tube with a 5/8" threaded end with memory ring. The Boom mounts with a similar threaded receptacle allowing for a strong tube to tube joint. The boom can be removed to use it as a straight stand. The locking nuts are metal screws with plastic knobs, not the most ...

    Great for in home and on the go

    I needed a mic stand for my Blue Snowball, but my desk doesn’t have any place I could clamp a boom. This mic stand works for my podcasting needs and also serves well for when I run sound and need an extra stand. I borrowed one to try before I bought it to make sure it would fit my needs and I’m very pleased with the multiple adjustments and multi-purpose ability for home and away.

    This easy to assemble mic stand allows for many different set ups for the musician using it. You can adjust height as well as extend the mic pole close to the stand or to hold it away to allow for positioning away from instruments. Does its purpose for the value.

    Lightweight with great features

    These stands are awesome!! Lightweight, yet very sturdy. They will hold my microphone, with a "goose neck" attached, with no problem. Love the paint finish. On-Stage products are the way to go for that professional look.
