    great tool for fork tubes

    got this for 49mm forks on a HD Street glide it fit really really tight for that size tube. had to add a bolt with a lock nut in order to provide for swivel use in the vise. after that it worked well

    Good, Sturdy Tool:

    I haven't used the tool yet but, after watching videos on its use, I'm sure it will work fine for me. I just wanted to add that the item I received is already drilled and tapped, where I can install a bolt to be clamped in a vise (see the photo). That will allow me to rotate the Fork Leg 360* degrees while working on the leg.

    Exactally what was needed, going to make the rebuild much easier. Note that it only clamps the upper, not the slider. Best is that it can be bolted down to a work bench without the need for a vice.

    good for horizontal work only

    the fork leg holder holds the fork securely horizontally, but when used vertically, it allows the fork to move a lot because you can't clamp it tightly enough in a vise.

    Holds tube, and not leg as advertised.

    Disappointed it would not hold on the leg on front forks, of an 2007 HD glide. Holds tube just fine. Jim's advertised leg, and tube.
