Radeon labeled HD6450, Catalyst reports as HD 7000 series
Got two of these budget HD6450 labeled cards (fan cooled) to keep old 1/2 height SFF Dell PCs. The old optiplex 745's had a similar HD6450 card but with passive heat-pipe cooler that overheated and ballooned up. .... These replacements seem to work fine and give reasonable 'experience index' . Graphics 5.3 (was 4.5), game graphics 6.4 (was 6.3) Oddly Catalyst reports as HD 7000 series. why? Just what I needed.
Exactly what I needed to run SketchUp Make (a 3D modeling computer program) on an older HP Slimline Desktop computer. At AMD site I downloaded the software that recognizes the installed hardware before installing the card and after installing card I ran the software and everything worked out perfect. While Web Browsing the graphics CPU on default settings runs at 54-59 °C and gets up to about 62-68 °C with a little more intensive rendering on 27" monitor @ 3840 x 2160.Exactly what I needed to run SketchUp Make (a 3D modeling computer program) on an older HP Slimline Desktop computer. lota research 2 install driver but worth the price
