Initial delay notwithstanding, I cannot complain: I got what I ordered at a good price and, when all was said and done, in a reasonable time frame.

    Citizen Promaster Sky Blue Dial CB5000-50L

    You should note that the bracelet has a pin and collar system that connects the links. This means that unless you’ve got specific watch repair tools, you’re going to have to go to a jeweler to get it resized. This cost me an extra $25, so that is something buyers need to know ahead of time so they can figure that into the cost. One good thing about the bracelet is that you can access the push pins that connect the bracelet to the watch, which means you can also easily remove the bracelet and attach another type of band (leather, rubber, canvas) if you were so inclined. As for the positives, the watch looks great. I have another Citizen with the same movement, but this watch is much more impressive looking. It has weight to it, but it isn’t overbearing like an Invicta Watch. My other ...

    Citizen CB5000-50L

    Citizen somehow struck a fantastic balance of cramming features into the watch while still making the time quickly legible at-a-glance. The hands and hour markings are generously coated with photo luminous paint, which glow brightly after exposure to sunlight. Also the way Citizen used a matte white finish on the hour/minute hands themselves and the background of the mode indicator and 24-hour markings. The low reflective material makes the hands appearance pop, but I wish Citizen had painted the "SUN" day-of-week marker in white (for visibility's sake) and the second hand in red (for a little extra visual pop), but that's far from a deal breaker.     Great looking, very masculine watch.

    Love the combination of the blue dial and the brushed stainless finish. I'm not 100% certain, but I believe this particular model was never sold within the US, making it even more desirable to a collector. Plus, it's a Citizen Eco Drive Radio Controlled watch, and other then when traveling from one time zone to another, you never have to fuss with the settings. That's particularly nice when you live in a country that still adheres to the ridiculous daylight savings system.

    I love the size of the watch and the visibility of the hands and the various features. I especially love the Radio Control which keeps the watch accurate to within 1 sec / 100,000 years!
