    Just buy it. You find a better mouse.

    In 2010 I bought the original cooler master sentinel advance. It lasted 13 years before the scroll wheel started playing, and the mouse input started freezing (which genuinely could have been a software OS issue). So maybe after 13 years of heavy gaming use, all that broke was the scroll wheel. So when I needed to replace it, I didn’t even think about it. I searched for the original mouse in case newer generations were of poorer quality, but they’re discontinued everywhere and sold out. I bought the new advance 3, and I am shouldn’t have worried. It looks like it came out of the same factory. Identical in every way except the TX rapid fire button. And I used to map that button to rapid fire anyway!
