This tool created professional looking buttonholes - even better than the built-in feature that I used for years on my newer vintage sewing machine. I really like the ability to use a larger bight (wider stitch) and then over-stitch using a narrow bight - looks very professional. Best buttonholer ever - if you have the right machine to use it, which I do. The buttonhoes are so far superior to those done by new machines that I would keep the old one to use it (even if I were willing to get a new one).
