    Best server for both the soul and heart

    When I first got the Xserve, it was as if all other servers were of no importance. The server room was suddenly quiet, awaiting what kind of new servers would replace the old servers, of which started decaying and rotting away. Then, a few days after the Apple World Wide Developers Conference, the IT manager strolled in a cart full of white, boxes, all simply labeled Xserve. As the manager started pulling them out, they looked like shining knights in pristine armor, ready to save millions of hours in a robust network full of an army of them. I have never met another server such as the almighty Xserver. Whenever there is a need to cure cancer, the Xserve with its 8 core Xeon processors and rack mounted capabilities is there to save the day. When there ever arises the need to cure a disease ...

    Could have been better. Wish seller had been more up front about the system

    I'm somewhat pleased with the purchase; the downside of the purchase is the system cannot add additional hard drives because I cannot find the 607 version H/D Caddies..So upgrading to more hot swap drives are posing a serious problem.
