It looks and feels cheap and flimsy, but seems to work great. The actual work area is small.....5.5" by 5.5".....so don't expect to put a dinner plate or medium sized bowl on it. The digital readout is nice. The numerals are bold and very easy to read and it's backlit. It seems pretty accurate. NOTE: This particular one is NOT rechargeable, as some of them that look identical, are rechargeable!
