    Cast is a classic

    If for no other reason than to hear Ethel Waters sing Stormy Weather and A Man Called Joe, this would still be a classic. To have this much talent, filmed during hard times for black Actors is a joy to own. I am old enough to remember going to the theater to see this film, Tho we were segregrated, everyone enjoyed the film.

    The DVD wouldnt play

    Got really excited to watch when it arrived... put it in the playstation 3 console, wouldn't play. checked the disc, put it in my other dvd player. it still wouldn't play. took it to a nearby used DVD store. had them clean the disc. and then I had them test it on one of their systems. still wouldn't play. I was very disappointed.

    cabin in the sky

    i have always love this movie. the old style singing and the story line is one of the best in the world. it has a theme of good vs evil. it redeem the soul. let a person look into them selves and laugh at life,. it also tell a story of choices, right and wrong. how much a women loves her husband that she prayers that he would change his life and do the right thing. at the end it shows how he was willing to give up his silly ways to make a change for his family. all black cast it is excellent movie to watch on a sunday or on a rainy day for a good laugh.
