Essential Experience.
I believe that the Marvel Essential series is a great way, for new comic book fans, or avid readers with limited cash flow to get the full experience. It allows readers to read past back issues of ongoing series, to understand continuity and some of the themes that are still present in the ongoing series. I wish that more of the essential series were in color, just to get that full comic book experience, but black and white is good enough. So I think that the Essential Series is well...essential to the avid comic book fan (like myself).I believe that the Marvel Essential series is a great way, for new comic book fans, or avid readers with limited cash flow to get the full experience. It allows readers to read past back issues of ongoing series, to understand continuity and some of the themes that are still present in the ongoing series. Perfect for collectors of all types
These Marvel Essential collections are the best, most economically feasible way to collect years of back issues at ridiculously low prices. These are great as reader copies for the avid collectors, allowing you to maintain your original individual copies in mint condition or for the new readers as a way to collect years of history quickly and cheaply. The only downside is their lack of colored pages , but trust me, after a few pages you won't even notice it.These Marvel Essential collections are the best, most economically feasible way to collect years of back issues at ridiculously low prices.
