    Nice unit good price

    I like it but, I do not like the fact it has to be pluged in. My old AcuRite was battery only so it could be placed anywhere. This is a big draw for me. The 4 stars in because plug in feature

    Good Starter Station

    I am a bit of a wx nut so have a number of weather stations. This is relatively unsophisticated, but has some nice features such as forecasting. This would be a good starter station. I bought it because one of my outside sensors was ruined by rainfall and so I had no way of monitoring outdoor conditions.

    Acurite Weather Center

    I have had a Acurite weater center for years. Seeing the many color display units on the market I decided to buy one. It was not a Acurite brand. One of the features I really liked was that I could plug it in and I could see it while in bed, not having to get up to press a button for the light to come on. It worked perfect for about 3 weeks and then one day I noticed the outside temp was not showing. I had installed the batteries that came in the box so I figured it was the batteries. I replaced them with a brand I trust. The outside temp still did not show. I followed all the instructions and in the end I did get the outside temp to show for 5 minutes then it started showing and then going back off. I took it back to the place I bought it from.
