    SDR and dvb t in one

    Super quality can be use as SDR or DVB t tuner but need two different drivers to be installed best option for me run on Vista SDR and on Windows 10 DVB t. For drivers you have to search in Google and remember check driver version on Windows 10 before to run DVB software only one driver will work. So good luck and have a lot of fun external aerial will be a right thing to use, regards Piotr.

    Easy to use wide band receiver

    I've used this receiver and it works well on my main home computer (Linux system), an old laptop I use, and with my phone (android). If you want to receive signals above 28mhz, this is pretty sensitive. I haven't used it as planned yet due to other pressures, but it's going to be an external IF and band scope for a couple of radios. If you want to get into SDR receive, this is a good unit.

    Simply Amazing

    Don't let the size, or price of this dongle fool you. You can do a lot for $30, especially with the large amount of FREE software that you can download and install. Out of the package, my Windows 10 laptop immediately recognized the dongle and I was ready to go. If it doesn't work, you can download the drivers needed in the Nooelec website. In terms of tuning and listening, I recommend downloading SDR Sharp (It's FREE) to start out with. Decoding digital radio systems like Project 25, DMR, and NXDN is possible with the help of software called 'DSDPlus'. While it takes some time to set up, it works like a charm and is FAR cheaper than purchasing a scanner, which may require a paid upgrade to receive just ONE of those modes.     First I must say that this is a good value. A base and 3 antennas. Read the directions carefully before you install the software. It can be a bit tricky. The customer service was very good ....I'm up and running. BTW an outside antenna will greatly increase thr reception.

    My first SDR and I', having great fun with it.

    This is the first SDR I've purchased and it's an excellent piece with which to enter the field. It was easy to set up and once the proper software is installed, the operation is very intuitive. I live in an area between two large cities and two miles form an airport so there are plenty of signals to explore. I have still got to install a short wave antenna, so I haven't had a chance to do much DXiing on those wavelengths yet. The whip antenna supplied is okay for the FM, aircraft and public bands, but without a long wire antenna, you won't even pick up an AM station two blocks away. All told however, it's a great value.
