    100% “The Fix!”

    I was very skeptical about purchasing this bracket, it thought it was a bit over priced and I could only imagine what I was actually going to get... to my surprise, the bracket is Very heavy duty and looks very well made. As a matter of fact, looks like something out of the dealer... I have tried EVERYTHING before this bracket. I even drilled out the mount and front engine cover out to a tight 1/2” bolt size and my motor was spitting out GRADE 8 bolts like loose teeth! It would snap a bolt in about 3-4 hours of using the A/C. This bracket 100% fixed the problem and mounting was super easy with the included bolts. Took me 5-10 minutes. This is a must buy if you have this issue.

    This would not fit on my 2000 Detroit 12.7 Series 60.

    The bracket was not at an angle that it could be made to work. The York compressor on my Detroit 60 12.7, it is on a mount that angles the compressor downward across the top of the motor which puts it at an angle that the bracket could not be made to work. Seems like a well made bracket and I had my hopes up, but they were shot down when I found out the bracket would not work.

    one of the holes didn't line up with hole on side of compressor. other than that, its working great so far.

    Sloppy

    Very poorly constructed. Very sloppy welds. It’s angles are not square. I did manage to get the holes to line up, but it didn’t line the compressor back straight as it claimed it would. It may have added extra support to the existing bracket, so far the bolts haven’t broken.

    Fits nice n good.

    Put it on a ddec 4 12.7 myself in under 45 mins. Fits nicely. Let’s see if my ac compressor bracket still breaks bolts. Guy packed it with empty plastic water bottles. Thought that’s ingenious. Came undamaged. Will report back if I still break bolts. Color is kinda fugly but not a big deal.
