When filled with #8 lead bird shot, you get: Small - 1.2 kg or 2.7 lb Large - 2.2 kg or 4.8 lb It's a bit a bit fiddly to put together filled with birdshot, but you only do it once. I like that the 8mm shaft bolt hole is tight, so it's not going to back out during transport. These are ideal for small, light refractors and reflectors when the default weights (11-12 lbs) are too heavy. Highly recommended!
