- y***h (97)- Feedback left by buyer.Past yearVerified purchaseWithout pliers the bands are useless. I bought the cheap Chinese plyers and tossed them. The Sportsman's have very little clearance for the bands crimped head. Instead I used stainless steel ZIP ties with the tightening tool. They are tighter and stronger than the "approved" method and give ample hub clearance. So, just buy quality boots and long steel zip ties with the tool. If you cant find long zips, hook 2 together.
