The seller was very responsive to my questions/requests. A+ seller! The lathe can handle the majority (80% ~ 90%) of common repair jobs such as: cue tip installation, standard ferrule replacement, shaft/dent smoothing, sealing/buffing/waxing, among other repair work. I have not yet done linen wraps. I have not yet found a way to replace phenolic tips, due to the lack of a cross-slide, carbide cutting tip, etc. In short, this is a useful lathe to start your hobby (or career) in cue/shaft repair!
