It has a spicy scent, not like peppers, but like a holiday spicy scent. This is definitely homemade soap with no frills, wrapped in plastic wrap. That's it. They're big 1 pound bars. It lathers up moderately, not a huge amount, and doesn't leave a long lasting scent, which might be bad because it smells good. Parts of the bar stay just a bit soft, so I'm not sure how long the bar will last, but I bought 5 pounds.

Use a exfoliate sponge. Do not use it alone.. thank you very much for this product.. I wish I could download a picture how it looks but no sorry. 8oz will do though. Trust me.

The product came to me during these hot weather melted down to half the containers. I loss half the product. The packaging was a mess as well (the shea butter had liquified; every container). I had to send it back. The company was great about it, returned my money but I wished they would have suggested alternative methods of packaging to get the product to me safely.
