    Phone was fine - Motorola software upgrade was a problem

    This is a very good phone for use on Verizon or PagePlus (my provider.) The buying experience was excellent. The phone worked fine on PagePlus until I tried a software update from Motorola. The SW download and install went fine and the phone was fully operational with the new SW. Upon the NEXT turn on I got a message requesting a software install. I did so and the phone "bricked." I was able to flash it using a technique involving creating a Linux boot disk from instructions on DroidForums and I'm up and running OK again. This seems common with Motorola software updates on the Droid 2 and Droid 2 Global. Beware!

    exellent

    This is a great motorola device for the Verizon network. Keyboard is easy to use, after you've gotten used to it - especially if you were a touch screen user. could be better and easier to use but it still offers some nice applications. The DROID 2 would have to be one of the more higher end Blackberry devices you can get. Nice speeds and little to none freeze ups. If you're looking for a business email phone this would be a very good choice. Emails are received very quickly - sometimes faster than on my computer

    awesome phone

    Great phone, super easy to use. You can simlpy pick up this product and begin using. Very user friendly! I love all the many features it has makes life a lot easier, and faster. I would reccmend this phone to anyone. I like this better than the droid 1, much better features, and all around product. If your not sure get it you will love this phone.

    Solid phone

    It's definitely a great phone. It's very powerful and the specs are great. 1.2 Ghz and 512 MB of RAM make this phone fly through processes like no problem, and you can even overclock the phone. It's great for those who want customization in their phone, but be aware of the battery life. Just get a batter manage app and you should be fine.

    Motorola A956 a great phone value

    Just got the phone up and running. Have been pestered by robot calls and people trying to snatch a 'Yes' from you so they can clean out your account. hope apps like Truecaller, RoboKiller, Mr. Number, Nomorobo and Hiya will run on this phone and rid me of this threat.
