Good dampening right where you need it
If you are like me you like to drive with the tailgate down, on most longer runs. It saves fuel. If you live where the roads are bad like me, then your tailgate flies up and down. On the Dodges, the tailgate straps are made to unhook, and the potholes do just that. You won't find your tailgate dragging on your bumper (or on the road!).
