      classic must have album

      I bought this album on vinyl in the eighties and with Tracey Thorn bringing out a new album recently memories of Eden and Each and Every One came flooding back. That is the stand out song on this album but there are other great tracks too; perfectly showcasing Tracey's soulful and note perfect voice. Her arresting, smooth voice needs minimal musical embellishment and is simply stunning listening. Having seen the band live a couple of times heightens the listening pleasure. Whatever direction her and Ben take; they can do no wrong; but this for me was their seminal work.This will still sound as good in another twenty years; music that will stand the test of time.

      EBTG - Eden = real music

      I own a vinyl copy of this album from my distant days as a student. I suddenly had a hankering for a CD copy. I still love this music and have bought Love Not Money as well. I like the later, more commercial/dance orientated EBTG stuff but this is the kind of great music that also takes my mind back to when I first listening to it. Sometimes other albums just make you wonder what you were thinking at the time you got it, such as the many one-hit-wonders that get in to the charts.
