Debbie Macomber is an international bestseller whose fans the world over have fallen in love with her inspirational and heartwarming love stories. In this classic tale of faith and trust, a shy librarian marries a Montana rancher--sight unseen A shy Louisiana librarian, Mary Warner fears she'll always be alone--so she answers a personals ad from a rancher in Montana. Never before has she done anything so reckless, casting the only life she knows aside to travel to a strange place and marry a man she's never met. But something about this man calls to her--and she knows this may be her very last chance at happiness. Tragedy made Travis Thompson the guardian of three orphaned children--and determination leads him to do whatever it takes to keep the kids out of foster homes. When he decides to take a long shot on a personals ad, the results are surprising, and before he knows it, he has agreed to marry a mysterious Southern woman sight unseen. It could be the mistake of a lifetime. But Mary Warner may be exactly what this broken family needs. And with a little faith, a little trust, and a lot of love, two lonely hearts might just discover the true meaning of miracles.

  • Morning Comes Softly by Debbie Macomber

Debbie Macomber is an excellent writer. I have read many of her books and will continue to do so. This particular book starts out on a sad note with an accident that takes the lives of a couple and leaves their three children having to adjust to living with their single uncle. The uncle (Travis) is also having a difficult time having to adjust to the death of his brother and sister-in-law, much less how to cope with the children. The state child services has been keeping tabs on him and has found him lacking the ability to properly raise the children. This is where Travis upon information from others advertises for a wife. Mary listens to comments from a couple of teenagers that have seen the ad, after locating it she responds to the request sure that it's a waste of time. But is ...

  • I haven't read very far but she is one of my favorites.

I haven't read all of the book but her style of writing is one I really enjoy. I have almost every book she has written and I plan to continue to read her stories. They are good clean stories without all the descriptive garbage some writers use to sell books. There are a few of us that don't go for trash novels and I am glad to find an author that writes books I am not afraid to have around my grandkids.

  • Not recommended

There are two stories in this book. They are author’s earlier work. I am very disappointed.

  • Another great book by Debbie Macomber

As always it is hard to put down one of her books. I found the farther I got into it the harder it was to put down even for a few minutes. It gets you involved in the story line that you want to continue on with it to see what happens next.
