Item arrived nicer shape than the description suggested. But it was missing the watch strap that it should have included. I sent a message to seller suggesting he credit my PayPal for the cost of a new strap. He promptly agreed and paid me within MINUTES. This seller made lemonade out of lemons. I would highly recommend him.

Brilliant service, delighted with the watch, quickly sent. Beautifully presented and packed. Trusted high value ebayer, thank you very much. This purchase was hugely important to me as I had been looking for this watch for about thirty years and I was expecting to be disappointed so even better than expected. 5 star ebayer.

Great watch; reminds me of my 6309-7049 Seiko!!

I love this new version of an old favorite: the 6309-7049 Seiko Diver. As with the 6309, this new version is comfortable and wears like a comfortable watch despite its size and weight. The price is outstanding and the watch has features that the original watch did not have. Namely, the new watch can be hand-wound, which also hacks the seconds hand for greater accuracy when setting, The metal band is comfortable, albeit heavy, This makes the watch, while still comfortable to wear, considerably heavier. I bought my 6309 in 1988 while I was at my follow-on Navy training. I did not care for the original band on that watch either. I was "rubber" and very bulky. You would not have been able to tuck this watch under a buttoned up sleeve. I have put different bands on that watch over ...

  • Great watch that feels tought and durable

Really like this Seiko SRP775. Good wrist presence. Comfortable bracelet. Suggest having an experienced jeweler re-size the bracelet unless you have the proper tools to do it. Bracelet uses a pin and collar system which is a bit more difficult to work with than the typical split-pins that are more commonly used. I love the features with the automatic movement. Has the ability to stop the second when pulling the crown allowing to set the time more precisely and I can also manually wind the watch if I feel it needs a quick charge. Currently running +6/ sec a day so time keeping is good. Screw down crown was tough at first but its a lot better now. And watch construction feels very much like my other Seiko Divers... tough and durable. Only flaws I see is the chapter ring and rotating bezel ...

  • Seiko's classic Turtle diver modern re-release

The Seiko SRP775 is a modern re-release of Seiko's classic 6309 'Turtle' 200m dive watch from 1977-1988. The reason why the dive watch is nicknamed 'Turtle' is due to the comfortable and classic shape of the case. The re-release comes with Seiko's 4R36 automatic movement, which beats at 21,600bph and has a 41 hour power reserve. The new movement also enables users to handwind and hack the movement, which is an added bonus compared to Seiko's SKX divers. The watch case and bracelet, together with the durable 4R36 movement makes the Seiko SRP Turtle watches a bargain compared to many other Swiss divers that cost 10-20 times more.

  • SRP775 Makes the cut

So many of us look to Seiko when it comes to a rugged, good looking, dependable timepiece. This is due to the fact that Seiko always builds products that meet these expectations. From the original 6105 (Apocalypse Now ) through the years of the 6309 and SKX, Seiko has pushed themselves to provide quality products while listening to their customers. The new SRP/or Turtle series as they have been affectionately named are a great examples of this forward progression. New silicone soft rubber straps, upgraded bracelet with solid end links, the 4R36 Hackable /Handwinding movement make this a must have for seiko collectors, or anyone looking for a high quality Divers Watch. I have a video review of this watch up on YouTube. Aron Dunlap-OFD Channel. Look me up.

  • Great Watch!

I finally got the watch and loved its retro style with gold accents. Right out of the box it wears very well and very comfortable for its size. It one solid chuck of watch. The crown is well constructed. The movement is smooth and very reliable. And did I mention hackable. A wonderful upgrade for seiko. One of the brightest and longest lasting lumes out there. And you can't beat the price! My only biggest complaint is the stainless steel bracelet. It's very functional as a beater watch but still feels cheap. Problem solved with an aftermarket retro rubber dive strap to make it old school. If you're looking for a quality dive or tool watch and don't want to pay the ridiculous price for a lot of them on the market I highly recommend the turtle!
