Product Information

This tabletop lace cutter tool (number 3112-00) by Tandy leather factory allows the user to cut fringe, braiding strip belts, and lace. This tool comes with 25 1/8-inch spacers in alternate black and white. Each spacer holds a blade, which allows it to cut 1 to 24 strips at a time in 1/8-inch multiples. Spacers have self-aligning recesses and shoulders, which allow stacking without bolts in place. The MPN is 311200.

    Handy tool.

    This product is a must if you like doing mystery braids . It is convenient and makes clean and accurate cuts . My only complaint is it is a handfull of loose parts to hold in place while handling razor blades . I would not say it is unsafe but I will say get an extra hand or be very careful . Overall I am very pleased but i must drop one star for being somewhat difficult to assemble safely.

    For Crafters

    This is a great little device for the home crafter. You can cut precision cuts but you need to be patient and go slowly. It is imperative that you keep the leather straight and right up next to the edge. It is adjustable so you can cut widths from 1/8th inch up to 3/4 inch. You may want to purchase additional blades at the same time you order the cutter. It does come with 4 or 5 blades. All-in-all I like the product.

    Lace cutter

    This lace cutter works amazing once the razor blades are set in place. It is a little finicky, removing the 2 screws and placing the blades where you want them, once thats done, it works well.
