    Great product, actually works

    I'm not sure why they discontinued this. The replacement doesn't work nearly as well as this. The timing cup makes all the difference. It's the only version of this flapper that actually works, but it's hard to find anymore. So glad you had it.

    Best "adjustable"Flapper valve around, bar none.

    Fluidmaster stopped making this particular model of their flapper valve, with the timing cup mounted on the valve itself. This model allows you to precisely time how long the valve stays open before closing, important to a complete flush. Their new models do not stack up to ones with timing a seperate timing cup. If you see one of these, buy it, I have accumulated 8 for myself with should last the rest of my life. So called improvements do not always hold true to being better, and in this case it's a fact.

    Hard to Find item!!!

    You can not find this item anywhere, not available in any store. It's a simple product that works great on older toilets, it keeps the flapper open long enough for the toilet to flush properly. The newer style, with the same part number, just doesn't work!!!! It's a shame that the manufacturer has stopped making this great simple product.
