    Star Wars - what can you say?

    The original Star Wars episodes are classics! There's a range of morality with the characters, styles, and motivations. The special effects are imaginative and entertaining, and the story lines have many levels to entertain every age group.

    The movies are pixelated and are jumpy but what do you expect for the price.

    I played these discs in three players and it looks like these where digital downloads that were transferred to DVD. Streaming movies from Netflix are better quality then these. That being said one online copy of the Star Wars movies cost $20 from any of the online vendors do $22 for the complete saga with bonus features is a great price. My son was more about seeing the story leading up to the latest movies then the digital quality. So if you want to get the story and you are not concerned about perfect picture then this is a good buy.

    A kid again

    Having been a star wars fan for the past 40 plus years, I was looking for replacement discs, the one's I had were played to death. When I received the 6 movie combo, I was like a little kid again. The picture and color quality was perfect, the sound was excellent. Overall I would have given a 5 but there was one thing that happened that I was not happy with. Now I don't know if it was a manufacturing error but at the start of A new hope disc 1 and on Return of the jedi disc 1, a camera image pops up for about 2 to 3 minutes. The 4 other movies don't have that icon on it. Overall I was still happy with the set and I would encourage any star wars fan new or old to buy the set.

    It was good!

    The movies are great (as I have seen them over and over for years), but I had a expected a more slick, sleek, professional looking product. It looked like someone had hooked the package up in their home. I have yet to watch the movies (to see the quality...in fact I should move on that soon) so I don't know if the quality of the movies are good or bad, but it was a great price and if they work I will be satisfied, but not thrilled!

    Good bang for the buck

    What more can I say Only wish all of the movies were in here (Rogue I, a Solo story) Other then that good bang for the buck. But remember this is the new up dated version (4-5-6 A New Hope, Return of the Jedi, Empire Strikes Back) not the org pressing most of us saw in 77 this has all the added special effects in it redone by George Lucas.. If you can live with that get it, If not then take out your old VHS tapes & watch them.
