This game's awesome, I remember first getting it the year it came out, never got the steel book edition until now. It's totally worth it. As for Armageddon itself, I'd say it's the weakest out of the 3d era games but still is great and the Kontent other than the base game makes the experience worth it.

This game is a good conclusion to Mortal Kombat. To make a long story short, Mortal Kombat has been around since 1992. Since then, it has grown into a powerful franchise, rivaling Capcom's Street Fighter in America. When I play this game now, it still keeps me hooked. All MK lovers would be hooked too......at the start. However, I, like many others, would feel a little bit robbed in the end. The hard work spent to unlock the secret crypt items seem wasted. The crypt items range from character art and.....movies of Mortal Kombat Cars? Neither of these things are necessary. I prefer extra objects in the create-a-fighter mode or even video endings. Of course the 60 plus characters are great and the game does combine elements from each MK game. The Konquest mode is the finest I have ever played - the best of the entire series. The number of battlegrounds are extensive - the most variety of any fighting game I have been around - and boy have I played a ton of them. The other features of the game, from Motor Kombat to the included Mortal Kombat 3 game, are so-so. Any questions? Anything I should elaborate on? Let me know. Digame.Read full review
Including a playable version of Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 as well as having tons of characters (including my favorite: Reptile) to choose from is amazing. You can tell that there was good effort put into this game. Warner Brothers could learn a thing or two about preserving the older Mortal Kombat titles like this.

Mortal Kombat Armageddon is a great fighting and adventure game. The game has all the characters from MK1 down to this one. Konquest mode and Puzzle Kombat are great. I enjoy watching the biographies of the characters on the bonus disc. What a great game.

Honestly, I already own a copy of Mortal Kombat: Armageddon but I decided to buy the Premium Edition for the bonus features. The game comes in two discs; one with it's original Armageddon game and the other with a Bonus DVD which consists of "Kharacter Kards" and "History of Fatalities" videos. It may not be somewhat special but if you're a big Mortal Kombat fan like I am than this Premium Edition is no exception. It's a must have if you have the chance. I really recommend it.
