    So after checking multiple options I figured this one was best because it wasn’t cheap or super expensive i also allowed his description to encourage my purchase !!! I even took the time to ask him what latest technology he referred to these strips haveing …. Because in my opinion my picture has gotten dark a lot of contrast and un even blacks dull whites.. BUT HEY THEy STOP THE 6 Red BLINKs that got us this far

    Well worth the effort to save this great TV.

    If you have the 6 blinking red lights on your Sony, it's either the power board or one or more of the LED backlight strips have gone out. In my case, it turned out to be the backlights. Not an easy repair, but well worth the effort if you love these 3D capable HDTVs. A word of advice, if you don't pay attention to the orientation of the 4 diffusion screens under the LCD front screen, there is a little corner clipped off of the 4 screens that goes on the top right of the TV as you face the TV. The original backlights lasted 6 years, hopefully, these new ones will last another 6 years.
