Time savers! Work as advertised! Two more great cordless tools from Dewalt!
Pros - The blower saves a lot of time, no more sweeping. It also does a great job of raking dry leaves as well. The chainsaw works exactly as advertised. Very surprised how powerful it is. Battery life seems to be ok. Have experienced no problems with chain tightening or the chain jumping off the bar. Cons - The price is still a bit high for the bundle. Could find nothing as a con on the blower. The chainsaw has a thin kerf bar and blade which is good for power and battery life, however, be warned do not place this chainsaw in a bind. If you do bind it, the chain will come off and possibly damage the bar. The charger was clearly a throw-in, must be wanting to get rid of old stock. A new fast charger should be in this bundle. Never again will I get
The chain saw smoked and burned up the first time I turned on. Motor locked up on it. I didn't even have a chance to put oil in it and check it out. the blower worked but it didn't have as much air flow power that I thought it would have. the only thing that really worked was the battery charger. Could not be more pleased
Very impressed with the power of each of these items. The chainsaw cut thru a 12" log like it was nothing, I made six cuts with it and afterward battery was not half gone. It is just what I need for my occasional cutting needs. The blower pushed leaves uphill on my driveway, could not ask for anything more. It takes a rather long time to recharge the battery but it does not bother me one bit. If you do more work buy another battery pack. These tools are just fantastic. If DeWalt could come up with a grass species that does not grow past 2" my life would be complete.Very impressed with the power of each of these items.
