About this product

Product Information

Nerdy security guard Quentin Kimmer (Devon Gummersall) dreams of becoming his favorite superhero, the Arachnid Avenger. He believes that he may have the chance to do just that when the lab that he guards is broken into, and he finds and injects himself with the spider serum being studied by scientists there. Unfortunately for him, he begins to mutate into a spider creature and becomes a danger to his city. EARTH VS. THE SPIDER first appeared on Cinemax as part of the CREATURE FEATURES series, which remakes several 1950s monster films from Samuel L. Arkoff's American International Pictures.

    Gory mutation creature feature.

    Dan Ackroyd. What more do you want in a The Fly meets Spider-Man horror movie rip-off. I have to say when I saw this film the first time I was truly surprised. Great acting and great special effects(for its time). I would have happily paid more for this movie!

    earth vs the spider dvd 2002

    This is a remake of the original 1956 "B" Movie, and is quite interesting as it bears little in common with that movie. Solid acting from a largely unknown cast make it worth a watch and the ending is not a kopout like many horror movies.

    Earth vs The Spider (DVD 2002)

    A good remake of classic 50's B movie, when a guard drinks some chemicals he starts to turn into a spider. The special effects are fair and the horror is average, the acting is good. 6.9/10 Movie.
