    The choice has been a little too large or a little too small. Our choice was a little too large. Thanks to your suggestion and others we've slightly reduced the hole size so no bees can get through, but most hive beetles will fall into the pan. Thanks for the feedback Hubert

    All of my hives are feral and come with tons of small hive beetles. The beetles and the larva fall right into the diatomaceous earth. problem solved in a couple days. My 3rd one and the quality gets better every time.
