    Brand new, machine is great

    I was worried this would not be brand new - but it is! Works perfectly and came with all the features described. To review the sewing machine itself, I've sewed both stretchy knit fabrics and thick multi-layered cotton fabrics, and they have all turned out well. There are 27 stitches to choose from, and for each you can adjust the stitch length and width. To be honest I think it's a waste of money to get the version of this machine that has 50+ stitches for an extra $100, since you really only need a handful for all types of sewing. It's MUCH quieter than I expected. It's a bit hard to control the speed if you want to go really slow, but I with practice it's not an issue.

    Thought it was easier to use but it is complicated

    I was very happy when I bought this Being that I have never saw one before and I wanted to make facemasks. However I am still learning how to operate the threading and tension, even though I have studied the instructions many times. If you are a beginner sore. I would recommend getting something with less maintenance. They don’t really explain much about the threading and tension except HOW to thread the needle. Even that was a long process.

    Lightweight, easy portable. Easy to understand features.

    Just recently received the machine for my granddaughter. This is her first machine but it was easy for her to understand the various features. Since she is just beginning, I will return for an update in the future. I personally like the machine, its weight, easy to read guidelines and the accessible user guide on the internet.

    Better than an industrial machine.

    Does everything I need it to. I recently bought an industrial singer machine and it couldn’t get through 4 layers or thin cotton fabric. Returned that and bought this for half the price and it works beautifully! Much better than the industrial machine. Good quality. And the one step button whole feature works great.

    Good value for the price

    I bought this sewing machine when my Singer of over 40 years old broke while making masks. It arrived sooner than promised. It was easy to learn to use and has many more features I have not yet tried, but is doing very well with the mask making. It is a good value for the price.
