    Definitely a step up!

    I had ordered and received an less expensive oximeter on eBay and been disappointed with its display size and the difficulty in getting it to actually 'connect' with my finger and get a stable reading. This unit, though not a lot more expensive, does not have either if these issues and I'm very pleased with it.

    NOt for me, but still a good price

    I purchased this for possibly the wrong reasons. I liked the idea it displayed in color and it seemed to give a little more information. In reality, the graph at the bottom and the PI% is just useless FOR ME.. I only really wanted the pulse rate and oxygen percentage. Because of the other information, the two items I am interested in are way too small and hard to read. I should have gone with a lesser unit that only gave the pulse and oxygen percentage in bigger letters.. Also I started out on a walk with it in my pocket and in just the distance of one block I pulled it out to get a reading. In that short distance, the keys in my pocket rubbed the face of this unit like I used sandpaper on it making it even harder to read. Thus I think the screen is made with a very soft ...

    Poor Quality

    The included lanyard is very difficult to attach. Therefore I didn’t get it hooked up before use. I dropped it on the hardwood floor before using it 5 times and it broke. Now it doesn’t work at all. It seemed to work well initially (and by this I mean it gave readings) but the product isn’t at all durable.

    HAZARDOUS, DO NOT PURCHASE

    The product feels cheap. When I first opened the box, the black inner pad fell off. I put the 2 AAA batteries in the compartment to see if it was still functional. The lights went on, then shut off immediately. It would not work. I checked to see if the batteries were placed appropriately and they were, but they were also HOT TO THE TOUCH!! NOT WARM, BUT HOT ONE MINUTE AFTER PUTTING THEM IN THE COMPARTMENT. THIS IS A HAZARD. DO NOT BUY. I need to pay more attention to the adage, you get what you pay for.
