    I wish I knew this before I purchased

    The strap version and the bracelet version have different spring bar locations on the lugs. The bracelet version spring bar position is very close to the case making it very hard to install NATO or Velcro straps. Luckily my watchmaker made some bent spring bars so I can wear my bracelet version with other straps. Still, it is a great watch and I’m very happy with it.

    A beautiful, affordable and extremely accurate moon watch

    For those who refuse to pay up to 20x the price for a Speedmaster and want accuracy and durability that far exceeds it, the Bulova Lunar Pilot is for them. I love the look, the contrasting finishes on the case, crown, chrono buttons & bracelet, the extra thick sapphire crystal, the gorgeous multi level dial and, of course, the hands. The bracelet is excellent quality and comfortable, easy to size too. The fact that it is an updated version of the watch worn on the moon doesn’t hurt either, the original recently selling for well over $1 million at auction. 20mm lug width means it’ll fit a multitude of straps. Comes in a very nice, quality wood and vinyl Bulova box for less than the cost of servicing the Speedmaster. Truly a great value watch, strongly recommended. *** If you’re thinking ...

    The other Moonwatch that NASA should have picked in the first place.

    Although it’s not everyone’s cup of tea, for me this is just a spectacular watch. I love Bulova watches in general with a few exceptions, yet the story itself is almost reason enough to get one regardless.

    This is a very comfortable, easy to read tune piece with a history. Love the band and the raised crystal. Very unique. Large hands and great functionality with the chronograph.

    Buy it.

    This watch exceeded my expectations. it is immaculately made. The finish are impeccable under the lupe. Accuracy 100%. It wears very comfortably and it does not wear large. On a 7" wrist on up it wears very well and because of the design it look no larger than any other 43" dial watch. The larger perimeter of the case surrounding the dial is larger but frankly it makes the watch looks like it is framed. Best money spent in a long time.
