    This filter does not fit, due to a different size from the narrower and longer OEM oil filter

    This is not a direct fit filter. This filter is not the same size as the OEM filter, thus does not fit. It is slightly, shorter and wider, this is why I am unable to put it on. This filter does not go in between the exhaust system. I don't have this issue with the longer and narrower OEM filter Thus, this is Not a direct fit OEM replacement oil filter.
