Works great for rain barrels
Very easy install for a rain barrel. The instructions are well written, and easy to follow. Get a 1 1/4" hole saw, cut your hole, and its pretty easy after that. A pair of channellocks will be helpful. But the components all seem well made, and so far no leaks to speak of. Would buy another without hesitation!

Spigots for Rain Barrels
Originally had bought plastic ones with rubber gasket. They lasted a couple of years then started leaking. I tried sealing them with hot glue and various glues, but nothing seemed to work due to how the spigot always flexed. Purchased the new brass spigots and they seem to be of good material and constructed well. Can't wait until my barrels fill up again to have rain water available for my garden. The rainpal was super easy to install and only took about 10 minutes but the next one will take fewer minutes. I am so glad I found it. Too bad the big box stores don't carry it.
