    Decent older Mac computer.

    This 2014 Mac Mini model, with the i5 2.8 GHz processor is just fast enough for day to day use when equipped with a solid state drive. I put a PCIe type drive in the computer, in place of the original Fusion module. I then split the drives and loaded my files on the new PCIe drive. The original 5400 RPM hard drive is still installed and can be used for storage of infrequently used items. I would have liked to had replaced it. But doing so would have forced me to completely disassemble the computer, which I did not want to do. It's got only 8Gb of ram. But that seems to be good enough. It even runs Windows on VM Ware Fusion family well. Unfortunately, the RAM is soldered in place and not upgradable. I hope to get 1-2 years use out of this. I was not quite ready to buy a brand new one ...

    OK for older versions, but get one with an SSD if you want to use the latest MacOS

    The Mac mini is still a solid performer, but the HDD Mac mini is really only usable with older versions of MacOS that use the HFS+ file system. The newer versions (from 10.13 on) use an APFS file system that is optimized for SSD drives and runs quite slowly on HDDs. If you want to run the latest version of the OS, get a machine with an SSD not an HDD.

    Good product for its intended use.

    Works very well as an at home tool to handle internet, schoolwork, basics. Came exactly as described. Can handle my basic home computing needs well and at a good price. Video and graphics are adequate, but it is 6 years old and with new graphics intensive games/video one can tell.

    Excellent product!

    All and all i'm very happy with this item. It came with a standard harddrive which didn't perform very well with the latest MacOS 'Big Sur' i purchased an SSD and installed it myself. This made a world of difference! A gently used Late 2014 Mac Mini still has a lot of life left in it! If you plan to run the latest OS you'll definitely want to upgrade the drive to an SSD.
