    Strong and smooth

    Have them loaded with 8 colors of leadcore line with 20lb backing and leader. Reel has plenty of capacity. Drag is very smooth, retrieve rate is quite respectable. Handled Kings and Coho with ease this fall. Zero break-offs due to inconsistent drag. Love them.

    Awesome reel that easily handles Lake Michigan Kings!

    I bought 2 reels from ClearH20Tackle loaded with 150ft and 200ft of 45lbs copper. Ran the 200 behind a church tx 44 and the 150 copper behind a Church walleye board with a +2 setting on the weight. Worked perfectly for my setup. The high vis backer on the reel is no joke! Its neon green and can be easily seen with a flashlight in the dark.

    Great reels but too much line on reel

    The reels are awesome but there was too much backer on it and the copper knot gets hung up on the reel. I will have to unspool and respool one of the two I received.

    The Okuma Convector line are the best level wind or line counter reels available for the money. Period. You can't go wrong with these. They've handled King salmon year after year and continue to work flawlessly.
