    Oster Long Slot Toaster

    Wow! Finally a toaster that a couple can have four artisan slices of bread toasted at the same time! So tired of our old toaster that required each slice to be toasted twice, to get the entire length done. Multiple options - including "warm" make this an extremely versatile appliance. While it is a bit long (they do make a two slice long slot model), it is something we could not find locally, glad to have located our last toaster!

    Long slices of bread do not toast evenly - hotter on the ends. Regular slices centered toast evenly.

    The ends are hotter than the middle if I toast a long slice of bread it is noticed. If I toast a standard size slice of bread, centered, it does well.

    This should last forever!

    My previous Oster toaster, bought around '88, was made of plastic & I dropped & cracked it slightly. It still worked just fine...& this was after taking it apart many times for cleaning. So I went looking for the same brand. I liked the wide bagel size slots...& the stainless case seemed like a good idea, even tho it is a bit difficult to keep the fingerprints off. There are numerous controls for any toaster setting you can even imagine, altho this is just a side perk, as 3 settings is about all I'll ever use. The only reason I would not re-purchase it is that I fully expect this toaster will outlive me & my descendants will laud my brilliance in making such a wise choice of toasters. o;)

    Oster Inspire (4-slice) Toaster, with its long continuous slot, works well.

    This is a large toaster and needs more counter space. I make homemade breads and regular toasters required flipping the slices. This does a nice job with the large length and width of the slots. It has several features and is easy to clean. It appears to be well built. It would work well for a family.

    More toaster for the money and protection plans help with misshaps.

    I got it cause I was tired of white small appliances and need a toaster with more capasity and I like stainless stealand it is cool to the touch when moving it after use big plus for me my old toaster would melt the end of the bread bag when it came in contact with the outside surface no problem with this toaster and the crum tray makes for easy cleaning and the safty of the stop button feature helps to stop burning.
