    Vortex Crossfire 12x50

    I was impressed with the quality right out of the box and couldn't wait to try them out. The first thing I did was take them out and compare them with my Nikon's which are 10x42's. I have to say that the Vortex was just a little bit sharper than my Nikons, with a brighter image. The glass pak case is ok but the harness straps are not very heavy and seems cheaply made to me. I will be using these primarily for deer and elk hunting and for spring shed hunting here in Montana. My review may change after this season but I highly doubt it. 5 stars
