Do not like bbl. sticking out the end, but as have a 2" , S&W Model 36, will keep it, even though won't carry it much, as is just more trouble to me, sending it back. However, it is well made, like it, but will now order 3" from another maker.

Yes it fits, but the holster is 1 1/4" too short. 1 1/4" of a 3" barrel is exposed. Doesn't cover 3" barrel which is the reason I bought it. Still a nice holster, so I'm keeping it. Please be a little more accurate with holster description. 3" holster covers 3" barrel. Not 1 3/4" of it.
