    Great lens

    This lens is so much nicer than the one that came with my D40. I love that I can lock it closed before putting it away in the bag and the VR makes pictures a lot nicer since my 70 year old hands tend to shake a little when I have to hold for a shot too long. Definitely 5 stars in my book.

    This lens will impress you

    This lens really surprised me. The image quality is great. I have the version before this one, and there is a BIG difference. It doesn't feel very durable (all plastic including the lens mount), but for general use, walk around lens it is perfect.
